Mindworking Asia, a leading Denmark-based outsourcing provider, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the JAAGO Foundation to support the education of children, with particular emphasis on fulfilling Mindworking Asia's social responsibilities, focusing on ESG, and contributing to UN World Goals 1 and 4.
This partnership has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of the children who will receive support, including educational materials and mentorship. The children are primarily from low-income families, and this MOU signing will provide them with access to education that they might otherwise not have had.
Mindworking Asia is passionate about fulfilling its social responsibilities, and is committed to making a positive impact on society through its corporate activities. As such, the MOU signing with the JAAGO Foundation aligns with Mindworking Asia's commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and recognizes the urgent need to address the UN World Goals, particularly Goals 1 (No Poverty) and 4 (Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all).
Under the MOU, Mindworking Asia will support the education of children, with a gender breakdown of approximately 50% boys and 50% girls. The children come from low-income families and attend schools in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mindworking Asia's support will involve financing the provision of educational materials and mentorship, including individual mentoring programs, teacher professional development, and community empowerment initiatives.
In signing the MOU, CEO Thomas Scheel reiterated Mindworking Asia’s commitment to social responsibility and emphasized the importance of working with partners such as the JAAGO Foundation to achieve significant change.
